In October, my team and I attended Redding’s Annual State of the City event. After a long year of responding to covid-19, wildfires, and more, I was impressed with all that was accomplished by the capable staff at the City of Redding. For example, this is the first time in years that Redding’s fire trucks are fully staffed with three firefighters on each engine; And they maintain an average response time of 6 minutes which is recommended by the National Fire Protection Association.
