Gas Price Update

I need your help. It was just announced that our legislation to create a Gas Tax Holiday will be up for a vote TODAY in the Assembly Transportation Committee. 

I know this is short notice…but are you able to call into the committee hearing today to voice support for Assembly Bill 1638?

Why: Gas prices are reaching $6/gallon and beyond. Lawmakers have an opportunity to immediately take 50 cents off the gallon by creating a Gas Tax Holiday by passing Assembly Bill 1638. 

I have been working with my colleagues in the Legislature to fast-track solutions that lower the price of fuel. Capitol Democrats have already blocked two previous attempts to swiftly approve this legislation. We need people like you to call in and tell your story about how these record-breaking gas prices are impacting you.
