Redding Veterans Home Portrait Unveiling Event

Team Dahle recently participated in the unveiling of the Veteran Portrait Series by Mickey Strand at the Redding Veterans Home. This powerful project features 19 portraits of local veterans‚ now proudly displayed at the facility.

Mickey Strand‚ a retired Navy Photographer’s Mate and Chief Petty Officer‚ served for 24 years on active duty‚ culminating his career as the Leading Chief of the Navy’s elite Combat Camera Group Pacific. His Veterans Portrait Series documents the stories of service from our Greatest Generation‚ focusing on World War II veterans.

Mickey’s work honors over 100 warriors who answered the call to serve our country during its most critical times. Through meticulous interviews and photography‚ he preserves their stories for future generations.

Team Dahle was honored to be present to celebrate these heroes and pay tribute to all the veterans at the Redding Veterans Home. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Redding Veterans Home staff for coordinating with Mr. Strand on this incredible project‚ recognizing our local veterans.
