Last Thursday, Senator Dahle and I accepted an invitation to speak to the Leadership Redding class of 2022 during their annual government day. I shared about bills I authored in 2021 that were signed into law, how effective partnerships work between the Senate & Assembly, and we finished our time with Q&A. The “class”, made up of community members representing a variety of industries from law enforcement to nonprofits and more, asked some thought provoking questions that the Senator and I were delighted to answer. It was great to engage with this group of people who care deeply about seeing their community thrive.
