Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon assigns Assemblywoman Dahle a new role on the Assembly Education Committee for the 2021-2022 legislative year.
SACRAMENTO – On December 27, 2021, Assemblywoman Megan Dahle was appointed Vice Chair of the Assembly Education Committee by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon. Dahle will assume this auspicious position for the 2021-2022 legislative year.
“I have served on the Assembly Education Committee for the past two years and consider it a great honor to step into this new role. I am extremely passionate about education and look forward to giving a greater voice to an area that sincerely deserves it- leveling the playing field for those in rural education,” said Dahle.
Megan served as President of the Big Valley Joint Unified School Board, where she grew her passion for rural education. She advocated for, and continues to support, access to Advanced Placement and enrichment classes so that every student can achieve their full academic potential.
Assemblywoman Megan Dahle represents the 1st Assembly District in the California Legislature, which includes portions of Butte and Placer counties, along with Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, and Siskiyou counties.
