Greetings‚
This week, real estate agents from all over California came together for Realtors’ Day at the Capitol to discuss pressing issues regarding housing and constituent needs. Thank you to the California Association of Realtors team for putting together another successful lobbying day, filled with opportunities to come together and collaborate. We especially appreciated the constituents from the 1st Assembly District who were present at this year’s event.
In addition to Realtor’s Day, Team Dahle met with several other groups at the Capitol this week:
- Association of California School Administrators to discuss policies and budget items that benefit public education.
- California Conservation Corps regarding their commitment to expand our reach to young adults and to protect California’s natural resources through the work they do.
- California Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (CALNENA) to meet with public safety dispatchers on their annual legislative day at the Capitol, to name a few.
Thank you to all who met with my office this week to discuss important matters impacting the constituents of the 1st Assembly district.

| Kool April Nites Last weekend Team Dahle attended the much anticipated annual Kool April Nites event in Redding. For the third year in a row we had the opportunity to select the “Assemblywoman’s Award” which is a fun opportunity to recognize a local car enthusiast for their hard work and dedication to excellence in their craft. The photo to the left is this year’s winner. Thank you to the Kool April Nites team for including us in this year’s event. In addition to being a fun community event, this week-long tradition is a big tourism draw for our area. It brings in thousands of car enthusiasts from far and wide to enter cars into the show, or simply enjoy connecting with other classic car aficionados. With several “show and shines” and other events in the week leading up to the big car show, every year this week in April is buzzing with visitors enjoying the beautiful North State and infusing the local economy with out of area dollars.
