During Leadership Redding’s Government Day‚ Team Dahle played a prominent role in discussions about the crucial responsibilities of government representatives at the state level and the significant impact of state-level decisions on local communities. Senator Dahle and I take immense pride in sharing that we have hosted over 120 legislators in our district during our collective time in office. This has been crucial to fostering collaborative relationships across party lines and shedding light on the unique challenges faced by rural California. These efforts have played a key role in our accomplishments at the state level. A sincere thanks to Leadership Redding for hosting us once again‚ and we eagerly anticipate another class graduating with a deepened love and appreciation for their community.
In addition‚ a heartfelt thank you goes out to the California Association of School Business Officials’ (CASBO) Shasta Cascade Section for honoring me with their Annual Legislator of the Year award. District staff attended the Workshop and Holiday Social in Redding‚ an event well-attended by educators and local CASBO members. Throughout my legislative tenure‚ prioritizing our students has‚ and continues to‚ remain a top commitment. | Congratulations‚ Jake Mangas and Dr. Joe Wyse This week‚ Team Dahle had the honor of attending the retirement celebration for Dr. Joe Wyse‚ Superintendent & President of Shasta College‚ who dedicated 17 years to the institution and served as its leader since 2011. Dr. Wyse’s visionary guidance positioned Shasta College as a pioneer in progressive initiatives‚ consistently advocating for innovative approaches to education and career readiness. The 1st Assembly District has been truly privileged to have such an outstanding leader‚ and we extend our heartfelt best wishes to Dr. Wyse in his well-deserved retirement. Later in the week‚ our team participated in the Redding Chamber of Commerce’s year-end meeting‚ where Jake Mangas‚ the President & CEO‚ received well-deserved recognition for his remarkable contributions over his eight-year tenure. We extend our sincere congratulations to Mr. Mangas on his new role in local healthcare philanthropy-a testament to his commitment to enhancing the well-being of the North State communities we proudly call home. We wish you both continued success and fulfillment in your future endeavors. |
| Menorah Lighting in Grass Valley Our team recently had the pleasure of attending the Annual Menorah Lighting in Grass Valley‚ and what an evening it was! Filled with tradition‚ community spirit‚ and a whole lot of warmth‚ it truly encapsulated the essence of the holiday season. Celebrating alongside friends and neighbors made the event even more special‚ and we’re always thrilled to be a part of these district gatherings.
