Gas prices are plummeting around the country. Meanwhile, here in California we are paying almost double the national average for a gallon of gas, $6.33.
Now the Governor is calling for a Special Legislative Session to increase taxes on our gas. His proposed tax increase will not lower our gas bills- additional costs are always passed onto the consumer.
