Nevada County Wildfire Survey

Good afternoon-

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an opportunity to have a direct impact on wildfire protection in Nevada County. Read on to learn about Nevada County’s Roadmap to Resilience and the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) Update‚ or skip below to “click here” and take the survey now. I believe your input is crucial to its success.

The Roadmap to Resilience is a comprehensive strategic plan that aims to safeguard our beloved communities from the threat of wildfires. It encompasses various aspects such as wildfire protection‚ hazard mitigation‚ and evacuation planning. To ensure that the CWPP aligns with the needs and priorities of our community‚ public participation is vital.

To facilitate community engagement‚ the Nevada County Office of Emergency Services (OES) has launched the CWPP Survey. This survey provides an opportunity for Nevada County residents‚ property owners‚ and the county workforce to contribute their valuable insights. By participating in this survey‚ you can help the OES gain a deeper understanding of how wildfire risk impacts our communities and support the development of a CWPP that truly serves our needs.

The survey is available online from June 1st through August 31st‚ and it is accessible in both English and Spanish. Completing the survey should take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Your contribution will play a crucial role in shaping the future of wildfire risk reduction efforts in Nevada County. To participate in the survey‚ simply click here.

Together‚ we can make a difference in safeguarding our communities from the devastating impacts of wildfires. Your input is invaluable‚ and I encourage you to take a few moments to complete the CWPP Survey and share it with others who may be interested.
