Shasta County Residents‚
Your voice matters when it comes to determining the broadband needs in our community. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Act has allocated $62 billion for broadband investment across the United States‚ and it’s crucial that we actively participate to secure our fair share of this funding. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today.
The California Department of Technology is currently developing the state’s digital equity portion of the plan‚ which will determine the allocation of funds to California. As part of their community engagement efforts‚ they are seeking input from residents through a brief and anonymous survey. However‚ to ensure that our county’s needs are accurately represented‚ we need to significantly increase our survey responses.
Currently‚ Shasta County has only received 22 survey responses‚ but we aim to reach a minimum of 250. Click the link below to participate in this important survey‚ and forward this email to as many people in your network as possible. Let’s work together to raise our rural voices and make a meaningful impact on the future of broadband in our community.
By completing this 10-minute survey‚ you can contribute to the development of the California State Digital Equity Plan and help secure federal dollars for broadband in California. Your participation in this survey can have a direct impact on the funding our community receives for broadband initiatives. To make this happen‚ we need your support to achieve our goal of 250 survey responses by July 15th.
Take the survey today and encourage your friends‚ family‚ colleagues‚ and neighbors to do the same. Together‚ we can make sure that our voices are heard and secure the resources needed for a connected and thriving future.
